Wedding Bands and Guest Etiquette: Don't Be That Guy

Sometimes people say things they immediately regret. Sometimes people do not realize they should not be saying things. If you think you are the kind of person who may say the wrong thing at a wedding band exchange, please heed this advice to make sure you do not embarrass yourself.

We have all heard it. The random guest who thinks you are better friends than you actually are walks up to the happy couple, grabs her wedding band finger and says, “Wow! This really must have cost you a fortune!” to the groom. Not only is this tacky beyond words, but it is also a great way to make people silently loathe you. In polite society, people understand to never talk about finances. Did you pay for the diamond wedding band? No. Enjoy your free food and drinks and keep those thoughts to yourself.

After the wedding bands have been exchanged, people will want to talk to the bride and groom. This is normal. What is not normal is for them to want you to solve their minor problems pertaining to this wedding. It is great to ask questions, but try to find the wedding planner or a bridesmaid and ask them instead. The bride and groom have bigger fish to fry like worrying about their first dance!

Diamond Engagement Rings Styles: All Gorgeous

A solitaire diamond engagement ring is one of the most stunning pieces of jewelry you will ever see. Not only does this ring possess the simple beauty anyone can appreciate, it is also a classic symbol of love and affection. Giving engagement rings is not something you do as a hobby. It should be taken very seriously and should never be rushed. Without love, where would we all be?

A vintage diamond engagement ring is also stunning, but is a completely different style of jewelry all together. These rings are not simple at all. They are complex and creative works of art that not every lady will appreciate. They are very “busy” and simply by looking at the ring, you can tell a very experienced craftsman took a lot of time fabricating this special ring. This style of ring often includes a halo of accent diamond around the center stone and this allows for quite the spectacle when it comes to first glances and long stares. The accent diamonds really make the center stone pop and certainly add to the overall bling factor of the piece.

Diamond engagement rings are all very different which is a good thing considering there are so many different kinds of ladies in the world.

Wedding Bands: Men and Women Differ Greatly

Wedding bands come in many different shapes and sizes. You have probably seen a million on television commercials over the years. You have your white diamond wedding bands, your plain metal bands and everything in between. You could literally spend hours in a jewelry store discussing each and every single wedding ring in the store, but why waste all of that time when you can go online and already have a good idea as to what kind of ring you want long before you even walk into the store?

Some women like their men to have wedding bands that are a specific color. If a woman has a black diamond wedding ring, she may want her husband's ring to be black. This will narrow down his options as to which kind of metals he can choose from, but let's be honest here, he doesn't really care what kind of ring it is, does he? He just wants to get everything over with so he can have his lady back and her not be entirely focused on planning their wedding.

When it comes to women's wedding bands, hers will likely be a bit more complex than his. She will want diamonds and there is nothing wrong with that!
