Wedding Bands and Engagement Rings Location During Wedding Ceremony

Many women are confused as to what they should do with their engagement rings and wedding bands the day of their wedding. This is something to think about instead of panicking the last minute and not having a plan. Since the wedding ring goes on your finger before the engagement ring, you will need to figure out your actions ahead of time. Luckily, you have some options:

One option is for you to wear your engagement ring on your right hand. This will allow your wedding band to be the only ring on your finger for a little while since it has to go in first (closest to your heart).

Some women have the two rings soldered together prior to the service so it is one ring he will slip into her finger.

Some women decide not to wear their engagement ring at all. Other women may not agree with this idea because the engagement ring is a huge part of their relationship and symbol of marriage.

You can do whatever you would like. Even if he puts on your wedding band over your engagement ring, you can always adjust them later. Just make sure you give this some thought before you get down the aisle and do not have a plan of action for your beautiful diamond wedding band.

Various Styles of Men's and Women's Wedding Bands

There are many types of different wedding bands for you to display your love for one another. It is traditional for a man and a woman to exchange diamond wedding band sat their wedding ceremony. This is the representation of their love for one another and the commitment they have made to be a couple forever.

Eternity wedding bands are very lavish and beautiful. These rings typically have diamonds studded into the band all the way around. Instead of having just a few diamonds in the band toward the top, you can enjoy these stones throughout your entire band. This makes it easy to put on your ring because it will always be upright and will always showcase your beautiful diamonds.

Other people prefer simple, plain bands. These wedding bands come in a variety of metals depending on your personal style and taste. White and yellow gold are some of the most popular metals to use, but many men are now gravitating toward tungsten and titanium. These metals are harder, which makes them more difficult to scratch. However, with some of these metals, like tungsten, you cannot resize the ring if your finger changes sizes. Instead, you have to buy a brand new ring. Shopping For Engagement Rings 101

There are many types of engagement rings for you to be educated on before you set foot into a jewelry store and make a purchase. This process takes a lot of research and planning and should not be jumped into without preparation. Obviously, the first step is to find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with and make sure they are on the same page as yourself.

One of the most popular styles of diamond engagement rings is the vintage style. These rings are truly stunning and have an antique feel to them. Many of these engagement rings have halos around the center stone. This accents the large center stone and also gives you more bling in your ring! There are also very many tedious lines engraved in these rings for that antique feel many women love.

Solitaire engagement rings are another option for you to research. These rings are elegant and simple. There are not many lines engraved into these rings. Instead, there is simply a stone and a band. Both are very plain, but strikingly gorgeous. After all, sometimes less is more.

No matter which style of ring you choose, make sure you stay within your budget. This is probably the most important factor when shopping for engagement rings.

Picking out Wedding Bands Together is Fun

After the woman has received her engagement ring, there will be yet another fun jewelry shopping experience the couple will need to accomplish. This task is shopping for your wedding bands. Some men knock out two birds with one stone when they buy the engagement and diamond wedding band as a set. This allows her to rest assured that her rings will fit together perfectly with no dreaded gaps you hear about women complaining about. If he did not purchase the rings together, there is no need to worry. You can always find a wedding ring that will look perfect right beside your existing ring. If not, then you can always custom create a ring that will be absolutely perfect when paired with the other ring.

When it comes to men's wedding bands, women have it so much easier. They do not have to worry about matching this ring with another ring because men only wear one ring. However, you still have to figure out what kind of metal you want to buy and the basic design you think he will like. At the end of the day, he will probably be fine with anything you pick for him, as long as it comes from you. Visits-

Jewelry Stores: Always Trust Your Gut

What should you look for when walking into jewelry stores for the first time? Some people may look at the overall appearance of the store. They may notice how clean it is and how organized the layout appears. Others will notice their interactions with the staff and take mental notes as to how professional they appear and how knowledgeable they are of the products they are selling. Just like walking into any other business, you may notice different details than the next person. Some individuals may have their priorities list arranged a bit differently than yours. All jewelry stores should do their best to present themselves in the utmost professional manner.

Finding jewelry stores to suit your needs is not a difficult feat. You simply need to be aware of your surroundings and certainly know exactly what you wish to receive from said store. Many people will tell you to go with your gut. This is always a good point. If something does not seem right about the business, feel free to walk away and choose another store to visit. It is all your decision, and if you do not feel right about any aspect of your experience, you should voice that concern.

Engagement Rings: The Proposal Doesn't Have to be Elaborate

Sometimes engagement rings come when you least expect it. The cutest proposal I have ever heard happened just last week:

Monica is graphic designer who works from home most of the time. She had been working on this one company's logo for quite some time. Around 5pm, her boyfriend comes walking through the door after a hard day's work. She finishes up her work for the day, gives him a smooch hello and proceeds to inquire about his day. Their Labrador Retriever is incredibly happy to see both mom and dad together and is bouncing around them as they embrace. Her boyfriend goes upstairs to shower and get ready for the dinner plans they have this evening. A little while later, their Labrador comes bounding down the steps with something in his mouth. Monica gets the sock out of his mouth and cannot help but notice a red bow tied to his collar. Upon further inspection, she sees a gorgeous engagement ring! Her face lights up and when she looks up she sees her boyfriend kneeling down with her and their dog and he asks her to be his wife. Of course, she says yes and they live happily ever after.

Your proposal doesn't have to be too elaborate. You just need a diamond engagement ring and love.

A Brief Look at the Formation of Loose Diamonds

When it comes to loose diamonds, there are many things you should know. These stones are not only precious decorations for jewelry, they are also pretty interesting little rocks given to us with love from Mother Nature herself.

It takes billions of years for diamonds to form. It all begins over one hundred miles into the earth. This location of the earth is home to some pretty extreme conditions no human could ever live through. With so much heat and pressure, it is safe to say there is no life there. However, there are carbon atoms. When these atoms are subjected to such extreme heat and pressure, they bind together tightly. This is the beginning of the formation of loose diamonds. After the diamond forms, volcanic eruptions hurl the stone toward the surface of our planet. This makes it a lot easier for miners to excavate these beauties.

You may think the certified loose diamonds you see in your local jewelry store came out of the earth looking this good, but that is not the case. When they are retrieved from the earth, they are not so impressive. Professionals have to cut and polish the loose diamonds in order for them to look like the ones in the jewelry store display cases.
